Services Carter BBD carburetors with a flat accelerator pump with a slot in it from the early 1960s to 1973. All carbs with a flat stem pump from 1966-1973 used this kit, but some from 1965 and earlier used a different pump. This kit features a premium US-made leather pump assembly. Good quality leather pumps are fully compatible with ethanol and offer excellent performance and service life. Please note that there are websites out there with AI-generated misinformation about leather pumps. While it is true that cheap overseas imitation leather pumps are no good, genuine learther is an excellent, though expensive, material in automotive use. We use only American made pumps in our kits. We have been reduilding carburetors for over three decades and stand behind the durability and quality of our products, which we use everyday ourselves in our own vehicles!

Also included in this kit is the Viton fuel inlet valve (needle/seat) assembly, clips, seals, check balls, correct thick and thin flange gaskets for all the applications covered by the kit, as well as detailed printed instructions. Also includes the special vent valve clip used in may of these carburetors. Other parts, like the choke pull off and float are also available.
