This premium, USA-made Carter BBD Carburetor Rebuild Kit (Part #CK4272) is specifically engineered for 1974 and newer Chrysler, Dodge, and Plymouth cars and Dodge trucks. It features advanced, ethanol-resistant components designed to withstand modern pump fuel without degrading, ensuring a long-lasting leak-free seal. CK4272 includes the complete Viton pump assembly - not just the rubber cup, as well as all gaskets, seals, needle/seat (fuel inlet) assembly and the correct flange gaskets, including a thick insulator gasket, as well as complete printed instructions with settings and adjustment specs.
Fitment & Identification Tips
- Fits Flat-Top Carbs: These carburetors originally came with tags that are often missing, but they can be identified by the flat cover held on with one screw on the top of the carb (this is the 'flat-top' or 'tin-top' design) as well as from the round, 3/4" diameter accelerator pump.
- Engine Compatibility: Fits 1974-1984 applications including Mopar Slant 6 and small block V8 (318 CID) engines.
- Feedback Carbs: This kit covers both standard mechanical setups and post-1981 computer-controlled "feedback" BBD carburetors.
