CK7311 is a top quality, American-made carburetor rebuild kit specifically made for Holley model 2140G governed 'Teapot' carburetors used on heavy duty truck applications from 1953-1978 (see the Vehicle Application chart below). All components are made from premium ethanol-safe materials for compatibility with modern fuels ensuring long lasting performance and durability.

What's Included in the Kit

Includes governor and secondary operating diaphragms, idle mixture screws and springs, Viton accelerator pump, air cleaner gasket, flange gasket, internal gaskets, improved Viton-disc type fuel inlet valve, float damper spring, fuel tube seals, power valve actuator and other parts as shown, as well as complete printed instructions. Fitment & Identification Tips

• Carb number location: There are two versions of the governed 2140G carburetor, so correct identification using the carb number is essential. The carb number is generally stamped on the rear of the base of the carb- see our LIST number guide here. Many heavy duty applications also had a data plate riveted to the carburetor with the carb number on it.
• Engine Compatibility: Fits many large 6 and 8 cylinder truck engines from 401 to 549 CID.
• Late model IHC use: Most other manufacturers stopped using this carb after 1959, but IHC trucks continued with it as late as 1978.
